Research Use Policy
Laboratory and analytical research only.
NOVA Labs supplies catalogue materials solely for lawful laboratory and analytical research. Products are not supplied or intended for human or veterinary administration, consumption, diagnosis, treatment, prevention of disease or other therapeutic use.
Permitted use
Purchasers must use supplied materials only within lawful research, analytical, educational or quality-control activities that are appropriate for the material and the purchaser's facilities, competence and legal obligations.
Prohibited use
Materials must not be administered to, consumed by or otherwise used on humans or animals. They must not be represented, resold or supplied as medicines, supplements, treatments, diagnostics or products intended to modify human or animal physiology.
Purchaser and organisation information
An order must identify the purchaser's organisation, laboratory, institution or other bona fide research activity and the purchaser's role or research function. The purchaser must be authorised to place the order for that activity. An order is created immediately when checkout is successfully submitted; there is no manual pre-approval step before payment.
Purchaser responsibility
The purchaser is responsible for determining whether possession, storage, handling, import, export and use of a material is lawful and suitable for the purchaser's proposed research. NOVA Labs does not provide medical, veterinary, diagnostic or therapeutic advice.
Post-order compliance review and cancellation
NOVA Labs may review an order after submission and before fulfilment, and may request reasonable clarification or supporting information about the purchaser, organisation or stated research purpose. We may cancel an order where there are serious compliance grounds, including a prohibited or materially unclear intended use, materially false or incomplete information, or a legal, regulatory, safety or security concern. If a paid order is cancelled by NOVA Labs on those grounds before fulfilment, cleared payment will be returned to the original payer.
Batch documentation
Any published certificate, report or analytical document applies only to the exact batch stated on that document. It must not be treated as evidence for a different batch or as evidence of suitability for human or veterinary use. Supplier-provided documents and independent third-party reports are identified by source where published.
Safety documentation
A certificate of analysis or analytical test report is not a Safety Data Sheet. Purchasers must review the applicable label and safety information before handling a material and obtain the applicable SDS where one is required. See Safety & SDS information.
No clinical claims
Catalogue names, research groupings, specifications and third-party documents are provided for material identification and laboratory reference only. They do not constitute claims or recommendations concerning clinical, therapeutic or veterinary efficacy, safety or use.
