NOVA Labs currently uses browser storage and cookies that are necessary to provide requested site functions. We do not currently load optional advertising or analytics tags on the public storefront.

Necessary storage

nova-cart — local browser storage used to keep the contents of the research-order basket until checkout or removal.

nova-research-use-acknowledgement-v1 — local browser storage used to remember that the research-use notice has been acknowledged on that browser.

Account and authentication functions may also use necessary session cookies or equivalent storage so that a signed-in user can remain authenticated securely. Security and load-balancing technologies may set strictly necessary cookies where required to deliver and protect the service.

Optional analytics and advertising

Optional analytics, advertising pixels, cross-site tracking or similar non-essential storage must not be activated until any consent required by UK law has been obtained. If NOVA Labs introduces those technologies, this notice and the site's consent controls must be updated before they are enabled for visitors who have not consented.

Managing storage

You can clear site data using your browser settings. Clearing necessary storage may empty the basket, sign you out or cause the research-use acknowledgement to be shown again.

Changes

This notice should be reviewed whenever a new analytics, advertising, support, embedded-content or similar technology is added to the site.
